Networking and Partnership
AfP Nepal is currently a member of the Global Youth Action Network (GYAN), USA; Reconciliation Resource Network (RRN), Sweden; Peace Partnership International (PPI), USA; and Peace and Collaborative Development Network (PCDN), USA.
Since its establishment, AfP Nepal has been working with a broad range of students and youths in relating to democratization, good governance, human rights, peace building and conflict transformation. It has worked with students and youth in over 50 districts and has over 21 local partners (district level NGOs) affiliated with it. AfP Nepal also has its own contact offices in 6 districts. AfP Nepal has been working with sister organizations of major political parties. Each organization has its own unit nationwide, which can be networks of the broader constituencies of AfP Nepal. This network of thousands of students and youths from very local to national levels could be one of the most important areas of AfP Nepal engagement in the next five years.
AfP Nepal has been supported by various donor organizations to implement its activities. For example, DanidaHUGOU, the Embassy of Finland, The Asia Foundation, MS Nepal, USAID, International IDEA, the British Embassy, Open Society Institute, Demo Finland, among others. AfP Nepal has also been supported by the UN OHCHR-Nepal with technical assistance to various programmes, in particular in material and resource support for human rights trainings.
